Description
Duke Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates back to the 17th century, with some alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble and features a double Roman tile roof with three brick ridge stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys high, with a road frontage that consists of two bays. The left bay is topped with a front-facing gable.
The windows on the façade include three-light bead moulded stone mullioned windows, which are set beneath stopped labels, and a four-light hollow moulded stone mullioned window located to the right on the first floor. All windows have leaded lights. The door opening, positioned between the bay sets, features a cambered head and a dressed stone surround, with a modern half-glazed door.
