Description

East Compton Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse built of coursed rubble with a slate roof and end brick stacks. The front of the house is symmetrical, with three bays and 16-pane sash windows. A central 6-panelled door has the top four panels glazed, and is sheltered by an ashlar porch featuring three semi-circular head openings. A single-bay outshut, built in a matching style, adjoins the left side of the farmhouse.
