Description
Rookery Farmhouse is a farmhouse with origins in the 17th century and alterations from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a double Roman tile roof with rubble stacks, one of which has an exposed chimney breast. The building is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys with three bays on one side and one bay on the other. It has 2 and 3-light casement windows. The central door opening, located to the left, contains a half-glazed door and is topped by an 18th-century stone hood supported by ornamental stone brackets. The rear elevations retain some original openings that feature moulded stone mullions.
