Manor/stewards house, now farmhouse. Circa 1700, some C20 alteration. Coursed rubble, dressed alternating freestone quoins, moulded string over heads of ground floor windows, moulded stone eaves cornice, hipped slate roof; a tall stack to each side, the majority of which appear renewed in concrete. Square on plan, symmetrical front. Two storeys, 5 bays, 2-light moulded stone mullioned and transomed windows. Central door opening in a moulded freestone surround; C20 panelled door; slab hood on console brackets. (Reid, Some Buildings of Mendip, 1979).
