Probably the manor house of a small manor, subsequently a farmhouse, now a house. Probably early C17; C19 alterations and additions. Coursed and squared rubble, with some banding, tile and pantile roofs of differing pitch, brick stacks. Principal frontage to garden of 2 storeys and 2 storeys and attic, main part of 1:2 bays; one, 2, 3 and 4-light ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned windows, one with a king-mullion, stopped labels; left bay in a projecting 2 storeyed porch under a front-facing gable; semi-circular head outer door opening in a moulded and dressed stone surround scalloped imposts, emphasised keystone. Inner door opening in a moulded wooden surround, plank door with strap hinges. C19 addition to left, 2 bays, 3-light casements. Interior with 2 fireplaces in moulded surrounds with 4-centred heads, one executed in wood, the other in freestone; chamfered and stopped ceiling beams. Glazed lean-to to rear elevation is not of special interest.
