Description

Peony Cottage is a 17th-century building that originally consisted of two cottages but has been converted into a single dwelling. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble with a thatched roof and features a brick ridge stack. The cottage is single storey with an attic, displaying a symmetrical façade with three bays. The windows are 2, 3, and 4-light casements, with the rightmost window located in a dormer gable that has coping. There are two door openings, each with plank doors and gabled hoods; the left door is supported by attractive dressed lias stone.
