Description

Manor Farmhouse is a manor house that has been converted into a farmhouse, dating from around 1700, with some remodelling of earlier structures. The building is constructed of rubble with dressed quoins and features coped verges, one of which has saddlestones and finials. It has a concrete double Roman tile roof and brick stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high with continuous strings over each level, and it has five bays. A two-storey porch projects from the second bay on the left side. The windows are stone mullioned, consisting of three and four lights, and have hollow edge chamfers. The flat-roofed porch, which was formerly plastered, has a plain outer opening with a passive stone lintel and a string raised above it. A plain vertical stone strip divides the first floor into two sections, topped by a parapet. The entrance features a plank door with strap hinges and a stepped ovolo moulded surround.
