Description
Summerfield Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1800. It is constructed of Doulting ashlar stone and features a slate roof with a cornice and parapet, along with coped verges and rendered end stacks. The building has a double pile plan and is designed in a Classical style. It stands two storeys high with two bays, and has end pilasters and 12-pane sash windows. The central door opening is flanked by Ionic pilasters, an entablature, and a moulded cornice, leading to a 6-panelled door with the top two panels glazed. There is a wing of lower height that extends at right angles to the rear of the farmhouse.
