Description

The gate piers and flanking walls to the Old Rectory date from around 1810. They consist of a pair of gate piers made from Doulting ashlar, featuring moulded caps, with the left pier having been rebuilt. Decorative urns adorn the tops of the piers. The flanking walls, which are 2 metres high and constructed of squared and coursed Doulting rubble, slope down from the gate piers. The wall on the right extends 8 metres, while the left wall runs for 5 metres, with each wall ending in a squared rubble pier.
