Description
The Old Rectory is a rectory built around 1810. It features a smooth render exterior, a cornice band, a parapet with coping, and a plain clay tile roof. The building has three hipped dormers and end brick stacks, presenting a plain Classical facade. It is two stories tall, with a cellar and attic, and has five bays with 12-pane sash windows set in reveals. The central porch has a hipped roof, and there is a segmental headed window opening at the front, along with a segmental head door opening to the right side, which includes a four-panelled door. At the rear, there is a semi-circular arch head stair-light. The central door opening is beneath a moulded stone hood supported by shaped brackets. The interior retains a well-preserved staircase, doors, and some plasterwork from 1810. The building is marked as the Rectory on the Ordnance Survey map.
