Description

The gates, piers, and wall located 25 metres to the east of the front of the former Unitarian Chapel date from the late 18th century. The gate piers are made of Doulting Limestone ashlar and feature moulded capstones. The wrought iron gates are accompanied by railings. The wall extends 6 metres north and south along Cowl Street and has chamfered coping, with an additional pair of ashlared piers at each end.
