Description

No. 62 on Cowl Street is a house dating from around 1650. It is built of colour-washed rubble and features a triple Roman tile roof with coped verges and brick stacks. The house is symmetrical, standing two storeys high with two bays. It has three-light ovolo moulded stone mullion windows, which are topped with angled labels, except for the ground floor window on the right that has a 19th-century casement. The central door opening is adorned with a triangular pediment supported by moulded stone brackets, and the door itself is a plank door.
