Description

This is a late 18th-century house on Tipcote Hill in Shepton Mallet. It is a symmetrical, three-bay Classical town house constructed of ashlar stone, with ashlar stacks and a slate roof. The front elevation features three late 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars in moulded surrounds. A central arched doorway has a semi-circular head, a plain stone architrave, and is flanked by Tuscan pilasters supporting an open pediment. The door is six-panelled. Two-light mullion windows are present on the left return.
