Description

14 and 16 Tipcote Hill are two houses built around 1800. They are roughcast with slate roofs and brick stacks, forming a pair of attached Georgian townhouses with symmetrical facades. Each house has two storeys and three bays, featuring boarded sash windows set in reveals. There is a central doorway for each house, with the one on the left framed by a plain stone architrave. The left side has a plain pilaster, and both houses have eaves cornices. To the right side, there is a wing that is also two storeys with three bays and irregular fenestration, with all openings boarded. These houses are primarily noted for their group value.
