Description

No 2A at Cats Ash is a house dating from around 1600, with modifications made in the mid-20th century. It features a rendered exterior and a slate roof, showcasing Elizabethan architectural style. The building is two stories high and has one bay. The doorway is adorned with a moulded stone architrave that includes a triple keystone, and it has a 19th-century door. To the left of the doorway, there is a range of four-light mullion windows with carved dripmoulds, while to the right, there is a 20th-century casement window that retains a vestigial dripmould.
