Description

No. 2 on Top Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble, topped with a stone tiled roof. The building features coped gables with moulded kneelers and contrasting angle quoins. It is two storeys high with an attic and has a single unit plan. The doorway is located on the right side, and there are three-light casement windows, all of which have voussoirs above them. A brick stack is positioned at the gable end, and there is a single hipped gabled dormer. To the left, there is a lean-to extension.
