Description

Nos. 3 and 5 on Top Street are a pair of cottages that were likely built in the 18th century and originally served as a barn. The cottages are constructed from coursed rubble and feature a thatched roof, with large stepped stones visible in the gable end. In the center, there is a blocked double barn doorway, which now has small casement windows. The entrance to No. 3 is located to the right, accessed through a bracketed porch. No. 5 has its entrance through a single-storey extension on the left, which includes the doorway and a single casement window.
