Description

This building is a cottage that was originally separate premises, now part of Number 6 (The Gables). It dates back to the early 18th century and is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone tiled roof. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and features a single gabled dormer, which has been recently restored and is dated 1710. The layout consists of a single unit plan with a doorway located in a hipped roof porch, and to the right, there is a roofed, canted bay window. Additionally, there is a stone base for a brick stack that is shared with Number 10.
