Description

No. 3 West End is a cottage, probably from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone tiled roof and is a single unit with a single storey. The doorway is located to the left, sheltered by a timber porch, and there is a 3-light casement window to the right. A brick stack is positioned on the right-hand gable. To the left of the main cottage, there are two additional bays of different construction, also made of rubble but featuring a thatched roof. These bays are 1½ storeys high and have casement windows with flat timber lintels, along with dormers above. There is a blocked opening to the right. The left side and gable of the building have been rebuilt, also in stone.
