Description

Nos. 27 and 29 Pudding Bag Lane are a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and feature a thatched roof. The cottages are 1½ storeys high and each has four dormers, following a two-unit plan. The entrance to No. 27 is located on the side, while the street facade of No. 29 includes the main entrance and four casement windows, which have flat timber lintels that are chamfered for No. 29. There are brick gable end stacks on both cottages.
