Description

Nos. 1 and 3 Horsehold are a pair of cottages built around 1830. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of two cells. The north front has doorways with sill ties and three-light broad flat-faced mullioned windows with projecting sills. Above these, there are four-light windows. No. 1 includes a flat-roofed stone porch. The gables are coped and have kneelers. At the rear, each floor has four square lights, and there is a central stack on the ridge.
