Description

Nos. 11 and 13 Horsehold are a pair of cottages, now used for agricultural purposes, located on the north side of Horsehold Lane in Hebden Bridge. They date from the 18th century and are constructed from hammer-dressed stone, with watershot stone on the east side and a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high and feature quoins. The east face has six bays of windows, each with plain stone surrounds on both floors. The gables are coped and have kneelers. The rear faces a yard and includes three doorways with tie-stone jambs, each accompanied by two-light windows. The first floor has three similar windows, all lacking mullions.
