Description

Rochdale Canal Lock Number 11 is a lock built in 1798, designed by engineers W. Jessop and W. Crossley. It features large dressed stone retaining walls that include rebates for gates. The lock is equipped with the facility for a double set of bottom gates. It is located near Lock 10.
