Description

Nos. 2 and 4 Horsehold are a pair of cottages built around 1840. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone with ashlar quoins and feature a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of two cells each. Each cell has a doorway with tie-stone jambs and a flat-faced mullioned window with a slightly projecting sill, topped by a 5-light window above. The gables are coped and include moulded kneelers. There are two stacks located at the ridge of the roof.
