Description
Green Springs is a pair of cottages located on King Street in Hebden Bridge, dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a modern tile roof. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of two cells each. Each cottage has a doorway with monolithic jambs adjacent to a 5-light flat-faced mullioned window that has a projecting sill. The cottages share two stacks at the ridge and have quoins at the corners and between each cell. In front of the house, there is a stone trough with a stone slab shelf above it, which formerly had two carved Celtic heads; one head is now preserved inside No. 10, while the other is missing.
