Description

No. 5 on Main Street is a house built in the mid 18th century. It features pebbledashed rubble and a slate roof, with a central entrance and gable stacks. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The windows are framed with plain stone surrounds that have a shallow chamfer; they were originally mullioned but now consist of single sashes. However, the former three-light window to the left of the door retains two sashes separated by a chamfered mullion. The door is framed by a plain stone surround that includes cyma moulding.
