Row of almshouses, now two dwellings. Central datestone to centre of first floor:- "Domino et Pauperibus E.S. 1699"; some C19 and C20 alteration. Coursed rubble, weathered string at first floor level, eaves, C19 double-Roman tiled roof, brick stacks. Two storeys, 3:3 bays; to left C20 two-light casements with glazing bars; to right two-light moulded stone-mullioned windows in moulded freestone surrounds, also two C19 type two-light casements. Two door openings, to right vertically ribbed door in chamfered freestone surround; to left C20 plank door with C20 hood. C20 garages added to each return are not of special interest.

An unusual example of rural almshouses, probably the only ones on Mendip.
