Description

This is an 18th-century detached cottage with 20th-century extensions. It is constructed of local lias stone, cut and squared, and has been colourwashed. The roof is thatched with plain gables, and there are brick chimney stacks. The cottage is two storeys high and has six bays, with the two westernmost bays being the 20th-century additions. The windows are timber casements of varying dates; those in the lower bays three and four have leaded lights. A lean-to porch is located in bay two, and first-floor windows are present in bays two and four. There is a single-storey extension against the east gable. The interior was not inspected.
