Description
Dairy Cottage is a detached cottage, likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed from local stone rubble and has a colourwashed front. The roof is thatched, featuring a plain gable on the west side and a half-hip on the east side, with one brick and one stone chimney stack at either end. The cottage has two storeys and three bays. The windows are horizontal-bar casements with three lights, and the ground floor windows have timber lintels. The lower central bay features a boarded door set in a recess under timber lintels. The west gable is plain, while the east gable has a 20th-century window and an added projecting chimney stack. There is also a 20th-century extension at the north-west corner, which has a double-Roman clay tiled roof. The interior has not been seen.
