Description
The Winsham and Cricket St Thomas War Memorial is a First World War memorial erected in 1923. It is made of Ham Hill stone ashlar and is designed as a large pier with a semi-circular head, featuring an integral Latin cross topped with a Crown of Thorns. The memorial stands on a stepped and weathered octagonal base, which is mounted on a large circular platform that has steps indented at the front. There are inscription panels located at the base of the cross shaft and on the weathering of the base.
