Description
Old Manor Farmhouse is a detached house, probably from the 18th century. It is built from local stone that is cut and squared, with Ham stone dressings and a thatched roof between coped gables. The house features brick end chimney stacks, with the one on the west displaying a pronounced 19th-century pattern.
The building has two storeys and four bays. The ground floor has hollow chamfered mullioned windows set in chamfered recesses, complete with labels; the first bay has a 4-light window, while the others have 3-light windows, with the window in the fourth bay appearing to be deepened. Above these, there are small 3-light small-pane casements with central iron-framed opening lights. Between the third and fourth bays, there is a part-glazed door set in a deep recess, featuring a bead-mould architrave and a moulded flat stone hood supported by brackets. The wall shows signs of having been raised along most of its length.
There is a lean-to structure against the east gable, while the west gable has a blocked 2-light mullioned window with a label at the first-floor level. There are extensions at the rear of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
