Description
This is an 18th-century farmhouse that has been modified over time. It is built of local lias stone, squared and cut, with a thatched roof punctuated by a single-flue chimney and a second artificial stone chimney stack. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three bays. Most windows are 2-light casements with timber lintels. However, the window in the lower bay one is a 4-light casement made in an earlier style, featuring a leaded light and iron opening casement. A late 20th-century artificial stone and tiled porch projects between bays two and three. The south gable was rebuilt in the late 20th century using artificial stone. A thatched farm building is attached to the north gable, built at a lower level than the main house.
