HENDERSKELFE THE BOAR GARDEN SE 7170 Castle Howard 11/30 Vase and pedestal approximately 30 metres north-west of statue of Wild Boar GV II Vase and pedestal on which it stands. Mid - late C18. Sandstone. Approximately 3 metres in height. One step to pedestal with moulded base, blind fielded panels and festoons to chamfered angles, acanthus frieze and moulded cornice. Tall narrow vase on fluted stem with relief swags and gadrooned rim. HBMC, Register of Parks and Gardens of special historic interest in England, Part 32, North Yorkshire: Castle Howard, Grade I.
