Description

The Gardener's Cottage at Henderskelfe Walled Garden is an early 19th-century house constructed from limestone ashlar with a Welsh slate roof. It has a square plan and features a central entry. The building stands two storeys high and consists of three bays, with the central bay projecting forward and topped with a pediment. The entrance includes a six-panel door with glazed upper panels, situated beneath a canopy supported by carved consoles. This is flanked by sash windows that have glazing bars. On the first floor, there are six-pane sash windows. The cottage is adorned with moulded architraves throughout, a moulded cornice, and a pediment, and it has a low blind parapet. The roof is hipped, and there is a central cruciform corniced stack.
