HENDERSKELFE SOUTH PARTERRE SE 7169 Castle Howard 12/66 Vase and pedestal approximately 30 metres 25.1.54 east of Atlas Fountain (formerly listed under "Castle Howard with Outbuilding and garden statues") GV I Vase and the pedestal on which it stands. Probably early C19 with C20 repairs. Sandstone. Approximately 3 metres in height. 2 steps up to pedestal with moulded base, blind fielded panels and moulded cornice. Vase: foot supports fluted base of ovoid vase with lipped rim carrying vine scroll. Included for group value.
