Description

OXTON OXTON LANE SE 54 SW (north side) 4/49 Oxton Grange - II House. Probably mid C18 with later additions and alterations including C19 refronting and range to rear. Cement rendered brick with ashlar dressings and Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Quoins. Central entrance a 4- panel door with overlight with horizontal glazing bars within Doric pedimented porch. Ground floor has canted bays with plate glass sashes. 12-pane sashes to first floor. Modillion eaves band. End stacks. Windows to gable ends are 12-pane sash and 6-pane Yorkshire sashes.
