Oxton Grange

Oxton Grange is a house located on Oxton Lane, likely built in the mid-18th century, with later additions and alterations, including a 19th-century refronting and a range added to the rear. The building is constructed of cement-rendered brick with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. It has two storeys and three bays, with quoins at the corners. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with an overlight that has horizontal glazing bars, all set within a Doric pedimented porch. The ground floor includes canted bays with plate glass sash windows, while the first floor has 12-pane sash windows. A modillion eaves band runs along the roofline, and there are end stacks. The windows in the gable ends are 12-pane sash and 6-pane Yorkshire sashes.
