Description
No 2 Wharfe Bank Terrace is a house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the mid to late 18th century and is constructed of magnesian limestone ashlar with a pantile roof and brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a six-panel door beneath an oblong fanlight with glazing bars and a cambered ashlar head. There are full-height canted bays at both ends of the building. The central bays have 16-pane sash windows, while the side bays have 4-pane sashes, and there is a 12-pane sash window above the door. The building also features cill bands, a dentil cornice on the outer bays, and a modillion eaves band, along with end and ridge stacks.
