Description

No 21 is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the late 18th century with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of pinkish-orange brick laid in Flemish bond, featuring ashlar dressings and a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century glazed door set within a modern shop front. Above the door, each bay features a bow with tripartite sashes, which have 16-pane centers flanked by 8-pane sides. There are ashlar cill bands and a plain wooden eaves cornice supported by stepped brackets. The building has stacks at each end.
