Description

The Lawns is a house that likely dates from the mid-18th century, with a front that was added in the early 19th century. It has a rendered brick exterior and a hipped roof made of Welsh slate. There is a brick-rendered stack at the right end and various stacks at the rear. The building is two stories high and features a four-window range. To the left of the center, there is a sash door with a square porch supported by fluted Doric columns. The ground floor has 12-pane unhorned sash windows with architrave surrounds and bracketed floating cornices. There is a moulded string course between the ground and first floors, and the first floor has four 12-pane unhorned sash windows with architrave surrounds. The eaves are finished with a moulded parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
