Description

Mortimer Court is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is built of brick and has a Welsh slate roof, with a brick end stack on the right front. The building stands three storeys high and likely has a cellar. Originally, it featured a three-window range, with a central blocked opening flanked by 8/8 sash windows, all of which have painted stone sills and grooved stucco lintels. Above, there are four 8/8 sashes. To the left, there is a passageway under a segmental arch with a keystone, which has 20th-century iron gates set in a timber frame with a cambered lintel. On the right side, there are two additional 8/8 sashes.
