Description
This is a house located at 30 Old Street in Ludlow, likely built in the 17th century and refronted in the early to mid-19th century. The structure is made of brick and has a 20th-century plain tile roof with a brick stack at the rear. It has two storeys, an attic, and a cellar, featuring a two-window range with two-light casements and two 2-light gable dormers. The ground floor includes a 4-pane sash window and a 4-panel door to the left, with brick cambered arches above. There is a wall post that remains in the passageway, which is the party wall with No. 28. The rear has the same roof line as No. 28 and includes a 19th-century Welsh slate lean-to extension. Inside, there is a wide through passage, an 18th-century oak newel staircase, plastered heavy beams, and a corner stack.
