Description
No. 16 Old Street is a chapel hall, now used as a surgery, dating from around 1830. The building is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof with brick end stacks. It stands two stories tall and has a cellar, with a four-window range. The windows have ornamental cast-iron glazing set in timber mullions, transoms, and frames, all surrounded by stone quoined surrounds. The eaves are corbelled in stone. The entrance features a studded plank oak door with a stop-chamfered case, also set in a quoined stone surround, and is flanked by windows with central casements. To the right, there is an archway with oak plank double doors that lead to a passage at the rear, which has a late 19th-century, two-over-two sash window.
