Description

No. 34 Old Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof, with brick stacks at the ridge and on the rear lateral side. The building is three storeys high and has a cellar, with a single window range that includes a 6/6 sash window, which has a 20th-century replacement. The first and ground floors are adorned with painted stucco lintels. The entrance is framed by a reeded doorcase topped with a flat hood, leading to a 20th-century door. There is a northern firemark that is numbered or dated 1836, and the cellar has flaps marked "G Hodges Ludlow Foundry."
