Description
31 Town Walls is a house located in Shrewsbury, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has three storeys above a basement and includes a three-window range, with the central bay being slightly advanced. The entrance consists of a central six-panelled door that is flanked by recessed Doric pilasters and topped with a shallow segmental fanlight. The windows are twelve-pane sash types with flat-arched heads, and there are nine-pane attic windows that are raised as dormers in the central and right-hand bays. Gable end stacks are present, and there are cast-iron railings surrounding the basement area, which feature spearhead and urn finials.
