Description

Number 5 Town Walls is a house, now used as a surgery, dating from the early 19th century. The building features lined-out stucco and a slate roof. It is two storeys high and has a two-unit plan. The wide off-centre doorway is flanked by sash windows, which are mostly either two or four panes, although one window still retains its original twelve panes. There is a lower wing at the rear, and the stacks are positioned against the rear wall. This building is included for its group value.
