Description

Number 19 on Sheep Street is a surgery that was formerly a house, built in the mid-18th century. It has a brick facade with coursed limestone rubble at the rear and an artificial stone slate roof with brick end stacks. The building is two storeys high and features a three-window range with a two-unit plan. In the center, there is a 19th-century part-glazed six-panelled door that has a pilaster surround and a flat hood supported by consoles. On either side of the door, there are 19th-century bow windows with dentilled cornices. On the first floor, there are 16-pane sash windows to the left, center, and right. Although the interior was not inspected, there is a lead 'Britannia' firemark located on the first floor, towards the center left.
