Description
This is an early 19th century surgery, originally built as a house. It is constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a dentilled eaves cornice. The roof is tiled with brick end stacks. The building is two storeys high plus an attic, and has a two-window front. Originally designed with a two-unit plan, the centre features a four-panelled door with an overlight, set within a pilaster surround topped with a flat hood on consoles. Later 19th century canted bays were added to the left and right, and a 19th century plank door with a brick flat arch is situated to the far right. The first floor has sash windows with brick flat arches on both the left and right. Two 20th century dormers and skylights are present in the attic. The interior has not been inspected.
