Description

This is a late 18th-century house, now used as a shop, located on Church Street in Shipston on Stour. The house is constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a dentil eaves cornice. The roof is tiled, with a brick end stack. The building is three storeys high and has a two-window front. The plan is based on two units. To the right of the building is an archway with a round brick head. In the centre is a pair of early 19th-century glazed double doors with a pilaster surround. A 19th-century canted bay shop front is present, now lacking its original glazing bars, also with a pilaster surround and moulded hood extending over the doors. Two 12-pane sash windows are located on the first floor, each with a brick flat arch. Two 6-pane sash windows are on the second floor, each with a wooden lintel. The interior of the building has not been inspected.
