Description
Cedar Lawn is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of brick in Flemish bond. It features a stone plinth, a stone storey band, and a moulded stone eaves cornice. The roof is covered with 20th-century tiles and has stone coped gables with brick end stacks. The building has three storeys and a three-window range, with an L-shaped plan.
On the ground floor, there are three slightly recessed openings within a segmental-headed brick arcade, including a 12-pane sash window with brick flat arches. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows, while the second floor contains three 6-pane sashes, all also with brick flat arches. At the rear, there is a wing that has been converted into flats, featuring a 6-panelled door with an original overlight and pilaster surround, along with another 6-panelled, part-glazed door with a flat hood, and various sash windows including 6-pane, 12-pane, and 16-pane styles. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
