Description
Palms is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and features a tiled roof with end brick stacks. The building has two storeys, although the left bay is raised to create an additional attic space. The facade is symmetrical below the eaves level and consists of three window ranges.
On the ground floor, there is a central door with a rectangular fanlight and two integral lights, flanked by two 19th-century canted bays that contain sashes with vertical glazing bars. Above, the first floor features a central six-pane sash window, flanked by two eight-pane sash windows, all of which also have vertical glazing bars. The house is topped with a gabled dormer that includes a six-pane wooden sash window with vertical glazing bars.
